It seems a bit tough to call him a veteran when he hasn’t even turned 'the big 4-0h!' yet but that’s pretty much what John is, having logged more then 20 years in the photographic industry.
There isn’t much he doesn’t know about images. He’s also a technical genius – digital technology is his best friend.
John has shot for some of Australia’s biggest corporations and household names: Schweppes Cottees, Dulux, Virgin Blue, Nestle, AWW, Toll Holdings, Tattslotto, ANZ, and GE.
It’s hard to top John’s precision and technical expertise – luckily his professional pedantry doesn’t flow over into his personality. He is highly sociable and loves shooting everything from people to products. For John, his dream photography jobs are those that see him involved from ground zero.
“The most satisfying work is the go-to-woah where you are involved from day one: creating or recreating a whole look and feel for a company – from packaging and advertising through to annual reports and collateral.”
While enjoying everything about business John’s passion is for a bag of pilchards and some fresh calamari chasing the illusive “big red” snapper. He likes going hard during the week and in complete reversal getting out on the water, a country drive or just crusing at home spending time with his family.
“ Chasing any large fish in the Maldives “ and celabrating the victory, barbeque fired up, beer in hand and the sunset on the horizon!
