Home For A Cure - Charity Auction

Home For A Cure 2020, the charity home auction, takes place on Saturday 14th November and we jumped at the chance to help out. (UPDATE - Sold for $695,000)

The Cause

For those not familiar with Home For A Cure, it raises much-needed funds for My Room Children's Cancer Charity, whose aim is to achieve a 100% cure rate for childhood cancers.

My Room is a volunteer-led organisation, working together to support patients and families affected by cancer and rely on the generosity of their donors to fund support for families, medical equipment, clinical care, research, and trials.

The Home

The home that's up for auction is part of a house and land package that has been generously donated by Simonds Homes and Satterly and it's located in the heart of Arcadia, close to Officer train station and the future Officer town center and it includes $150,000 of builder upgrades.

This beautiful 4-bed, 2-bath home includes a double garage with a large kitchen, dining, and living area that flows onto a 20sqm+ alfresco area and is situated on a sought after 465sqm lot that is ideally located in the heart of the community, just a stone's throw from a brand new neighbourhood park.

The home is being put under the hammer by Barry Plant and you can view the listing here
