What Urban Angles photographs

These are service categories rather than a fixed price list. The package you book determines the image count, inclusions and delivery terms.

Day photography

Day photography suits standalone homes, townhouses and apartments, and is the usual choice where gardens and courtyards are part of the property's appeal.

Packages start at five delivered images and include:

• Sky replacement
• Colour balance and exposure correction
• Colour enhancement of existing grass and trees
• Enhancement of pool and ocean tones
• Fireplaces virtually lit
• Removal of appliance stickers
• On-site image selection
• Next-business-day turnaround

Dusk photography

Dusk photography is captured around twilight, for a warmer exterior with softer light and illuminated windows.

Packages start at ten images and include:

• Enhanced twilight presentation
• Sky replacement
• Colour enhancement of existing grass and trees
• Enhancement of pool and ocean tones
• Fireplaces virtually lit
• Removal of appliance stickers
• On-site image selection
• Next-business-day turnaround

The five- and ten-image figures are the published minimums. In practice you can select a base quantity and add further images for an additional charge, so confirm the final count on your quote.

Dusk photography and Virtual Dusk are different products: Virtual Dusk creates a twilight appearance from an existing daytime photograph in post-production.

What standard retouching includes

Standard retouching across photography packages covers:

• Removing flash and tripod reflections
• Reducing glare and reflections in windows, and adding window detail
• Removing stickers from appliances
• Adding fire to fireplaces where specified
• Blanking or blurring agent sign boards
• Making pools blue, removing pool cleaners and clearing pool debris
• Greening and repairing existing grass and vegetation
• Removing obvious cords at a specified location
• Making ocean tones blue
• Removing carpet indentations
• Removing fixed garden hoses where specified
• Removing external rubbish bins that could not be moved on site

Choosing your images: proofing

Proofing is an option rather than an automatic inclusion, and it changes both who selects the images and when the delivery clock starts.

• With proofing you receive the captured set and choose which images go to post-production, submitted through DREAM. Selections submitted after 5 pm count as received the next business day.
• Without proofing the photographer makes the selection against Urban Angles' own standards.

Prestige photography is the current base offering and includes online proofing. On other photography products, proofing can be added for a fee either before or after the shoot. Because product names have changed over time, check what is actually available in your account rather than inferring it from a package label.

Turnaround and delivery

Express must be requested when the order is placed and at least 48 hours before the booking. It is not available on video products.

Urban Angles also markets a general "within 24 hours" estimate for real estate photography. The business-day conditions above are the specific terms and are the ones to work to; larger builder campaigns run to a longer production schedule.

Completed files are retained for about 90 days, so download and store your own copies rather than treating the portal as an archive.

Published prices and what they cover

Urban Angles publishes a photography starting price of from $165, and floor plans and virtual services from $75, in its products and services guide.

These are category entry points. They do not set a rate for day, dusk, aerial or drone packages, and they do not mean every variant within the category is available at that figure. The published guide carries no effective date, so treat the figures as indicative.

On commercial terms:

• Quoted prices exclude GST
• Delivery, packaging, freight and insurance may be charged in addition
• Quotes are current at the quote date and may change on 14 days' notice
• The usual invoice payment term is 14 days, subject to your quote or other agreed arrangements
• Some supplies may require payment before delivery if you are notified

Additional charges apply to express delivery and key collection, and may apply to extra video amendments and to full agent-signboard removal. Request a current written quote covering the property, location, service mix and turnaround.

Corporate portraits and studio work

Portraits cover corporate headshots and lifestyle portraits, shot at your location or at the Urban Angles studio in Richmond.

A 2024 portrait offer was published at $140 per person including GST for one retouched final image, with additional images at $55 each and a $175 setup fee per shoot, waived for groups of five or more, delivered within 48 hours of the shoot. That was a promotional offer with its own terms and dates — confirm current portrait pricing before booking.

Urban Angles also offers a studio for photo and film production. Dimensions, equipment, lighting, access times and hire rates are not published; enquire directly.

Planning a shoot and keeping brands consistent

Shoot planning works from the property's strengths, the likely buyer and the campaign strategy, and shapes composition, lighting, lens choice and the order images are presented in.

For agencies with multiple listings or offices, Urban Angles works to defined shooting standards, colour profiles and editing processes, and can follow an agency style guide covering composition preferences, colour treatment and delivery specifications. That supports a consistent look across many campaigns without making every property look the same.

Image resolution, file formats, download method, usage licence and revision allowances are set by the booked product — confirm them for your campaign.

Booking photography with other services

Photography and floor plans can be booked into the same appointment. Video requires a separate booking so the production teams do not interfere with one another.

Photography also combines with video, drone and aerial imagery, 3D visualisation and floor plans and virtual services. These are separate products and are not automatically included in a photography booking.

Removing permanent features from an image

Standard retouching does not extend to removing permanent external features such as power lines, poles, signage, trees or fences. Urban Angles requires written confirmation accepting full legal responsibility for any such request, because removing a permanent feature can misrepresent the property.

Written acceptance does not by itself make an edit appropriate for every use — consider where the image will be published before requesting it.

The service is Australia-wide, with teams in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide, and Tasmania and Perth serviced on request. National coverage does not imply identical turnaround or travel costs in every location — confirm scheduling and any location-specific charges for your project.

Frequently asked questions

How many images will I receive?

Day packages start at five delivered images and dusk packages at ten. You can select a base quantity and add more for an additional charge, so the final count is set on your quote.

When will the images arrive?

Base photography is delivered by close of business the business day after the shoot. With proofing, the clock starts when you submit selections through DREAM, and selections after 5 pm count as the next business day.

Can I get the images faster?

Express delivers before midday the next business day for an additional charge, but must be requested at order time and at least 48 hours before the booking.

Is sky replacement included?

Yes — sky replacement is part of standard retouching on both day and dusk packages.

What happens if the weather is poor?

Photography and floor-plan work usually proceeds; video and drone work is usually rescheduled. Weather-related rescheduling does not attract the cancellation fee.

Who owns the finished images?

Urban Angles retains copyright and file ownership unless a signed agreement says otherwise. You receive a licence for the agreed media, territory and duration, and reuse by a third party may require written permission.
