Highlights of 2019
The new year is upon us! As most of us make a start on our resolutions for 2020, the Urban Angles team reflects on the plethora of fabulous properties we have had the honour of working on throughout the previous year.
The Grodksi-designed warehouse-style statement property at 15 Palm Road, Caulfield North blew us away with its impressive sustainability innovations and zen-inspiring design. Rammed-earth walls, enormous pitched ceilings and a very special Jack Merlo designed outdoor living space made this architectural home authentically ‘Melbourne’.
In striking design contrast, a stately manor in Toorak, the pinnacle of French provincial grandeur, left our team speechless with its stunning marble dressing room, internal lift and basement garage perfectly suitable for a collection of luxury vehicles.
In a stylish nod to 70’s interior design, 32 Aroona Road was a gorgeous blast from the past in the prestigious “golden mile” of Caulfield North, while the breath-taking David Watson-designed 2 Myvore Court, Toorak home with 18-seat cinema and rooftop terrace was simply awe-invoking. 25 Cove Lane was a true piece of Flinders beachside heaven, combining modern finishes with textural materials to create a place we would all love to spend our Summer holidays.
Experiencing the juxtaposition of architectural styles and capturing the essence of these contrasting homes is an absolute pleasure few are fortunate to enjoy; there is no question as to why, at Urban Angles, we love what we do. Here's to another year of doing just that!
