17 years ago, we photographed a diamond. A unique and exquisite gem perched waterfront along the Golden Mile. As much a palazzo as a warm family home, with a design distinguished by its European influences. An ambience of pure glamour. A residence owned by the noteworthy. 39 Seacombe Grove was a home impossible to let go of. And if we’re honest, we’ve pined for it since.
Late last year, we photographed our old love. Like revisiting a daydream, we returned to Seacombe Grove nearly two decades later. Rejuvenated, yet still grounded in heritage and luxury, its familiar, palatial proportions remained unchanged. Timely, yet timeless. We were back, and it felt so good.
Like an old flame, we were captivated once again. A home defined by its cinematic view and its unrestrained possibility. Our team delivered on a promise to capture awe-inspiring stills of a revived Seacombe Grove, and this time, prestige video to immerse viewers into the depths of what life could feel like in this extraordinary location.
“Seacombe Grove is a grand, elegant, formal home, with spectacular bayside views. It’s seamlessly connected with the theatre of the Brighton foreshore. We wanted to capture that connection, to demonstrate to the viewer how each element links so beautifully together”- Jules Tahan, Director, Urban Angles.
Like a movie scene, we observed the 180-degree vista from 39 Seacombe Grove from dusk to nightfall. Capturing the change in the light, from sunset through to sunrise led by a dramatic super-moon, we caught the beauty of Seacombe Grove in every magical hour, as only the fortunate ever will.
Our photography and video captured the filtered light as it reflected from the bay to the marble floors, bouncing onto the crystal chandeliers within. Our team discovered new angles, capturing secrets kept from the outside world, and sharing glimpses for a campaign intent on sparking wonder.
The resulting imagery is nothing short of majestic. The home, a stunning silhouette and its surrounding aspects, a mood ring of colours in every light.
Melbournians often pass by the bayside promenade below 39 Seacombe Grove, and many pause to admire its grandiosity. Yet from within, the view is only interrupted by masts. 39 Seacombe Grove recently sold for a record result in Brighton. The amount is undisclosed but it was expected to achieve $33 million.
